It combines the function of remote control and shutter release cable. With this multi-functional wireless remote you can strongly trigger the camera’s shutter release from a long effective distance up to 15m (50ft). Different from the infrared remote control, this radio-triggered wireless remote has function of shutter release, two modes are available: A. Half-press the transmitter’s button for auto-focus (the LED on both transmitter and receiver turns green), then press it completely for taking picture (the LED turns red). Bulb shutter, setting you camera to Bulb mode, and long press the transmitter’s button, bulb starts since the LED turns red, repress when the long-exposure is completed. It has strong anti-interference function and has 16 channels for choose. It is extremely useful for several photographers working nearby. Each photographer could choose their own channel to trigger off shutter release of the camera they are going to use without triggering others’ because of overlapping signals.
Customer Review: No batteries
I have yet to use this remote. When it arrived I opened it and it said to insert the enclosed batteries. There were none! It requires those funky little batteries. I have to bring in the remote to a store so that I can match up the batteries. I have 2 kids (one with special needs) and it is not very feasible. By the way, my remote doesn’t look anything like the picture.
Customer Review: good little remote.
Had to replace 1st unit in that remote focused but did not fire the shot. Excellent customer service replaced it quickly with minimum fuss. I use unit primarily with canon xsi on a tripod and a 400 mm lens with a 2x extender. Primary usage is photographing whales from a distance of 2-5 miles. Overall package is quite heavy and manually shooting causes camera/lens shake. With this remote it is a snap. One complaint-instructions say to insert enclosed batteries into both units but there were none, but still a good bargain for the price.

Customer Review: Perfect for Powershot SX10 IS
Based on reviews that Canon’s recommended case was too tight for the Powershot SX10 IS (and it is), I took the camera to local dealers for test fittings of other brands. This offered bag is the Lowepro Rezo 110AW. It’s a perfect fit for the SX, with room to spare, without being too large. I’m very satisfied. Note: Don’t rely on the middle interior bag picture, which is actually of the Rezo 170AW, and which is slightly larger than the 110AW.
